Your Questions, Our Answers
There are several excellent climate litigation databases already available. Each brings its own strengths, whether in legal detail, jurisdictional scope, or policy relevance. So why create another one? Because we saw a gap. Our platform focuses on all cases, including those that often go under the radar. We also go beyond summaries to analyse the legal arguments, reasoning, and wider impact.
Why launch another climate litigation database?
We respect the other databases in this field. What sets us apart is our focus on underreported cases, our in-depth analysis of legal arguments, and our emphasis on impact and context, how cases resonate in courts, academia, and society at large.
What tools do you offer?
We currently provide two core tools:

-
Updates Tracker: Real-time case updates, all in one place. You can see what’s new day-to-day, spot emerging trends, and track developments across jurisdictions.

-
Climate Litigation Database: A structured, in-depth case library with background, arguments, court reasoning, and impact analysis.
More tools are on the way, making it easier to identify patterns, compare cases, and understand what legal strategies succeed (or fail).
Who is this platform for?
Anyone who needs legally accurate, up-to-date information: NGOs, litigators, academics, policy professionals, and businesses.
What subscriptions are available?
We currently offer two subscription tiers:

-
Insights (monthly or yearly): Access to the Updates Tracker, with real-time case developments delivered via email.

-
Navigator (monthly or yearly): Access to everything, Updates Tracker, full Climate Litigation Database, and all resources we publish, including in-depth legal analysis of recent cases and emerging trends.
Do I need legal expertise to use the database?
Not necessarily. While our analysis is written with legal precision, it’s also designed to be accessible for researchers, policy professionals, and anyone seeking clarity on climate litigation.
How often are updates published?
The Updates Tracker is live and refreshed daily. Subscribers to Insights and Navigator also receive periodic email updates.
Will you keep adding new tools?
Yes. Our goal is to build the most practical hub for tracking climate litigation worldwide. That means expanding with tools that help you compare cases, analyse trends, and quickly identify what strategies do and don’t work.
Do you offer institutional access?
Yes, we work with universities, law firms, companies, and NGOs to provide tailored access. We also offer bespoke consulting and related services. Contact us for details.
